Excel GL copy paste Dynamics GP
Process to copy and paste GL entry from excel to GL.
- Open the GL entry Transaction
- Enter your Transaction reference
- Prepare your excel file data respecting the format below. (you could use smartlist to export account with their description)

- Select and Copy from Excel data without the Header Line
- Click on the Excel button to past the data
Notes :
- The transaction in question should be balanced. GP will allow you to import data unbalanced but will never let you post it as unbalanced… good control from GP.
- If for any reason, there are errors, GP will print a validation report for you that show some messages that help you troubleshoot the error.
