MS Dynamics CRM 2013 welcome screen does not disappear after checking it option

When you first install MS CRM 2013, you will have this message appearing whenever you open the web browser, the check box “Don’t show me this option again”.  Checking this does not allow you to remove this page from showing up when initially loading the browser. In order for you to take it out you need to add a registry option “DisableNavTour”.

You will find below the steps required to do so.

  1. In windows server  2012, press the window button  and the letter R
  2. Run the “Regedit”
  3. Locate the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MSCRM
  4. Add a Dword 32bit named “DisableNavTour” with a value 1. See image below

And Voila!… your welcome annoying image will disappear forever from your on premise installation!

For  Dynamics CRM 2016 welcome screen

you could simply adjust the option within the setting and it should work
